Club Statement: Danny Adams and Leo Kirk

Crewe FC are delighted to announce that both Danny Adams and Leo Kirk will be joining Danny Griggs' First Team Management Team, marking a new chapter for the Club.

Club Chairman, Steve Parker, had this to say; “It wasn’t a change I was expecting to make, however, it has provided us with an opportunity to go in a different direction than what we have previously done.

It was essential to me that we retained Danny Griggs first and foremost; he has a brilliant football brain and incredible insights to share. Equally it was important to provide him with a level of support and differing profiles that would not only compliment him, but allow us to get the very best out of this group of players, particularly after an underwhelming season last year.

Danny Adams has played at a professional level for 15+ years and is now his way to becoming a UEFA licensed coach. Leo Kirk has extensive experience of management throughout the football pyramid.

They are brilliant football people and I’m confident that the management dynamic we now have will be of incredible benefit to the Club and the players involved.

It’s been well documented that the Club has some huge ambitions over the next few years and I fully believe this management group can get us there”.

Danny Griggs is also really looking forward to getting started with his new management team.

We have a great group of players here that we’ll help develop and nurture, and with a couple of new additions over the next few weeks, we’re all confident we can get this fantastic club where it wants to be.
