Crewe FC are delighted to announce an extension to our local community provision by launching our new Ladies Open Community Sessions... and they start this evening!! With the women’s game continuing to grow at an exponential rate & having established 2 Ladies teams in the past 12 months, the Club will now be running a series of open community sessions throughout the season. The sessions will commence on Friday 12th July 2019 at the Cumberland Arena in Crewe and run, initially, on a fortnightly basis. The sessions will be ran by our FA Qualified coaches, including one of our ‘Girls & Ladies Phase Coordinators’ Steve Harding, who is looking forward to seeing more women get involved with football locally; “Over the past 12-18months, we’ve seen a huge increase in demand in the women’s game for local footballing provision & it’s something we initially trialed within the Club. It’s been hugely successful with the creation of 2 new Ladies teams and so we wanted to open up our football offering to the local community by offering some recreational open sessions where anyone can come and play. Whether you’re a beginner and want to give football a try, or have played previously and want to get back in to it, we’d love to see you down at the Cumberland”.
