Crewe FC have introduced a ‘Boot Room’ down at the Cumberland Arena, with the initiative aimed at raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support Parents & Players at the Club are donating pairs of used & outgrown football boots so that they can be recycled & redistributed throughout the Club & local community. All the boots that are donated will be available to anyone that needs a new pair, every Wednesday & Friday between 6.30pm-8.30pm. All the Club are asking, is that when people take a pair, they make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support in the process. Danny Massey, Crewe FC’s Head of Football Development had this to say; “It’s a fantastic initiative for the Club and a great opportunity to support a brilliant cause. We have a great set of parents and players at the Club & their generosity in donating boots that have been outgrown is greatly appreciated. Hopefully we will be able to recycle them throughout the Club & local community whilst doing some good for a charity that helps so many”. All funds raised will be collected and donated to Macmillan at the end of the season! Crewe FC #TogetherStronger 💙💚
